About Me
Dr. Janardhan R. Grandhe is an anesthesiologist in Bakersfield, California. He received his medical degree from Kakatiya Medical College NTR and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
Dr. Grandhe started his first medical practice in 1994 in Bakersfield, California. It was in anesthesia/pain management, and it was mainly interventional. The focus was to avoid patient dependency on narcotic medications.
In 2001, Dr. Grandhe independently started the Central Valley Pain Management Practice (CVPM), as a full-time practice. Within a few years, CVPM gradually expanded to other parts of Central Valley covering most of the underserved areas of Kern, Tulare, and Fresno, with its main branches in Bakersfield, Tulare, and Fresno.
Dr. Grandhe’s Role as Provider and Supervisor
In the three main centers (Bakersfield, Tulare, and Fresno), Dr. Grandhe has screening providers - including a medical doctor (MD), a nurse practitioner (NP), and a physician assistant (PA) - under his direct supervision. In addition, every week, the main interventional procedures are conducted by Dr. Grandhe at the three centers. To undertake the interventional procedures, Dr. Grandhe travels to each center with the procedure team. Furthermore, depending on how much the community requires the services of the procedure team, CVPM employees constantly travel, sometimes daily, to cater to various patients.
